Our client is a well-established cybersecurity organization with a strong local presence, providing tailored solutions to address enterprise risks across multiple industries.

What you'll do:

As an Incident Responder, your primary responsibility will be to execute cyber-security incident detection and response functions. You will act as a key technical contributor during major security incidents, responding swiftly to cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, events, and incidents. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and refining detection strategies, creating and optimizing mitigation strategies. You will also participate in purple teaming activities while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats.

• Respond to cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, events, and incidents.
• Act as a technical contributor during major security incidents.
• Contribute to the improvement of the team’s capability.
• Develop and refine detection strategies.
• Create and optimize mitigation strategies.
• Participate in purple teaming activities.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats.
• Drive continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide support to internal stakeholders and projects as required.

What you bring:

• Strong understanding and experience with incident response methodologies and techniques.
• Proficiency in detection and mitigation strategies for a broad range of cyber threats.
• Experience with common cloud platforms/technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in common enterprise technologies (Windows, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, web proxies, SMTP, TCP/IP).
• Malware analysis and reverse engineering (dynamic and static analysis).
• Hands-on experience with analysis and response tools.
• Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network, infrastructure, and application layers.
