Senior Penetration Tester

We're hiring a Senior Penetration Tester for a leading cybersecurity consultancy, working on complex offensive security engagements across a range of enterprise environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on breaking into systems to uncover real-world vulnerabilities and enjoys solving challenging technical problems.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Penetration Tester, you will be primarily working with our Sydney-based enterprise client, conducting penetration tests and collaborating directly with their teams. Your typical day might involve planning and executing security assessments, analysing results, and developing remediation strategies. You will also have the opportunity to mentor team members and coordinate project activities.

What you bring:

As a Senior Penetration Tester, you bring a wealth of experience from enterprise and consulting environments. Your strong stakeholder management skills enable you to communicate complex technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You demonstrate proficiency in Web, Web services, mobile and thick client penetration testing. Your deep understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools sets you apart from others. Ideally, you hold an OSCP certification or are currently pursuing one.

• At least 4 years of experience in enterprise and consulting environments.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Web, Web services, mobile and thick client penetration testing.
• Deep understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• OSCP certification or pursuing OSCP certification.
