Security Solutions Architect

The Role We're working with a leading tech consultancy seeking a Security Solutions Architect in Canberra. This senior role offers technical leadership and strategic influence across diverse industries. You'll design complex security architectures, support pre-sales and bids, and advise clients on best-practice frameworks and cyber strategies.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the creation and refinement of advanced security architectures for enterprise customers
• Provide subject matter expertise in security technologies and architectural patterns
• Advise clients on optimal security strategies aligned with technical, commercial, and operational objectives
• Shape security reference architectures for clients in sectors such as government, healthcare, retail, finance, and utilities
• Contribute to go-to-market efforts and awareness initiatives for cybersecurity service offerings
• Remain across emerging threats, compliance standards, and international best practices

What we’re looking for:

• A seasoned architect with 7–10 years of experience in cyber security solution design, with at least 5 years focused on architecture and pre-sales
• Background in working with leading enterprise security vendors and technologies
• Experience aligning security solutions with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SABSA, or similar
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills, especially within a consulting or integrator environment

Proven expertise across at least three of the following areas:

• Network & Perimeter Security / SASE
• Public/Hybrid Cloud Security
• Application and Data Protection
• User & Endpoint Security
• OT / Industrial Systems Security
• Security Operations & Monitoring
