Responsible for completing day-to-day data transformation and processing service, ad hoc tasks, and project-related deliverables, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong problem-solving skills, excellent client engagement skills, and an interest in or understanding of IT systems

What you'll do:

As a Data Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to both a leading Government company and the Investor reporting services. You will be responsible for managing multiple client service helpdesks, ensuring all client's data is processed correctly, maintaining system user access, supporting clients in BAU submissions by troubleshooting data related problems, acting as a liaison between various stakeholders, and completing monthly reports on behalf of Investor reporting clients. Your ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks to meet evolving deadlines, work independently and proactively will be key to your success in this role.

  • Onboard new reporting clients accurately implementing all required system configurations
  • Actively manage multiple client service helpdesk for client incidents and issues
  • Ensure all clients' data is processed in accordance with the service model and data governance templates
  • Maintain system user access and complete bi-annual user access reviews
  • Support clients in BAU RBA submissions by troubleshooting data related problems
  • Act as liaison between clients, investors as and when required
  • Complete monthly reporting on behalf of Investor reporting clients using XML parser tool


What you bring:

The ideal Data Consultant will bring a wealth of experience in data transformation and processing. You will have strong skills in Excel with experience in SQL, ETL tools, database structure and XML being an advantage. An understanding of financial markets instruments, such as debt markets and securitisation is desirable. You will have the ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks to meet evolving deadlines, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Your excellent communication skills and client engagement skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.

  • Experience with data transformation and processing
  • Strong skills in Excel required
  • Experience SQL, ETL tools, database structure and XML an advantage
  • Understanding financial markets instruments, such as debt markets and securitisation desirable
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks as required in order to meet evolving deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
