Solution Architect

What you'll do:
As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and participating in the architecture of software applications. You will work closely with various teams including Enterprise Applications, Planning and Architecture, and Product Delivery. Your ability to understand and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all solutions comply with our Architecture Management Framework, relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.

• Define standards and set expectations with respect to the application of proven software engineering techniques.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
• Ensure that solutions comply with our Architecture Management Framework, relevant industry standards, regulations and security protocols.
• Drive technical excellence across projects.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation for product lifecycle, project deliverables and knowledge sharing.

What you bring:
The ideal Solution Architect candidate will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design robust systems that address complex business requirements. You have a proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making processes. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to articulate technical concepts and system designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with application development using Typescript, NodeJs, PHP, or Python is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with application development using Typescript, NodeJs, PHP and/or Python.
• Knowledge of modern architectural design concepts eg. Domain Driven Design, Data Mesh, event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms.
