Data Architect - MS Fabric, Python - $900 + super

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect with a strong background operating in Azure-based environments; Microsoft Fabric, to lead the design and implementation of our modern data infrastructure. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our data ecosystem to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and enterprise-scale insights.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze systems and architecture, drawing insights and making recommendations aligned with project goals
  • Leads large-scale engagements, taking full accountability for project outcomes and deliverables
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures using Microsoft Fabric (including OneLake, Data Factory, and Synapse).
  • Leverage Python to build data workflows, support model deployment, and enable AI-driven data processing.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and delivering complex technical solutions.
  • Hands-on expertise in architecting and delivering Microsoft-based solutions, particularly using Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Strong background working with the Azure Data ecosystem including Azure Synapse, MS Fabric, Databricks etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, especially in the context of data processing, analytics, and machine learning.
  • Strong capability in building and maintaining relationships with technology partners and vendors to stay aligned with industry roadmaps, both internally and for clients.
