Our client is looking for an engineer to work as part of the Networking team and will be responsible for installation, support and maintenance across customers sites.
Responsibilities
- Escalation point for Network related incidents.
- Provide pre-sales support to Account Management team.
- Maintenance of Networking infrastructure with a specific focus on routing, switching and security.
- Successful completion of specialist Network-related support incidents within the scope of technical abilities.
- Maintain own technical expertise relevant to broader information technologies and trends.
Duties
- Staging and implementation of routing and switching solutions with a Cisco/Meraki focus.
- Ensure all configurations are validated and signed off.
- Monitor clients Networking performance and infrastructure.
- Manage client maintenance activities across Networking infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for growth and/or improvement of clients Networking infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 and 3 Network-related incidents in a timely fashion.
- Obtain and maintain industry certifications in accordance with training and certification schedule agreed with management.
Experience
- 4+ years' experience in a Network role.
- Cisco/Meraki focused experience relevant to wireless. switching and routing environments.
- SD-WAN and Cisco Voice experience will be advantageous.
- Minimum Cisco CCNP,CCDP certification and entry level experience in Cisco security solutions.
- Ubiquity and HP networking product knowledge will be an advantage.
