About the role

As the Application Support Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all critical applications at the Adelaide and Parafield Airports. In close conjunction with the business, you will support and maintain the applications and assist in the development of a technology roadmap for the critical applications in operation.

Though primarily a leadership position, there is an expectation that the role will provide ‘hands on’ technical mentoring, development, and support of all team members.

Key responsibilities include

  • Deliver easy, seamless, connected, and secure products and services.
  • Seek continuous improvement in IT services and regularly challenge the status quo.
  • Actively monitor our IT products and services to ensure high availability and value delivery.
  • Develop a trusted partner network to deliver projects and new products and services.
  • Day to day management of the availability and security of crucial aeronautical applications, ensuring they are fit for purpose and best in class.
  • Together with the business, develop a structured lifecycle roadmap for each critical application.
  • Work closely with the technical teams to ensure incident, change and problem management are performed.

Key requirements include

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or an allied discipline.
  • A proven track record in administering and supporting enterprise applications.
  • 8+ years in information technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting complex IT systems.
  • Proven experience in managing suppliers of applications.

Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Your professional behaviour and committed work ethic will demonstrate your ability to consistently achieve high standards of productivity with utmost integrity.
