What you'll do:

As a Modern Workplace Lead, you will have the opportunity to directly impact our client's cutting-edge trading systems. Your challenge is to further innovate and maintain the foundation underlying their wider infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting the global transition to Microsoft cloud-based platforms, balancing continued on-premise requirements with a global cloud-based Microsoft environment. Your role will also involve developing a resilient, secure, and scalable environment that enables code-based management and automation.

• Support the global transition to Microsoft cloud based platforms (M365)
• Develop a resilient, secure, and scalable environment that enables code-based management and automation
• Establish a framework for delivering first-class support
• Leverage the full capabilities of the Microsoft suite to facilitate improved collaboration and efficient workflow
• Uphold stringent security and compliance standards in the ongoing management of the cloud and on-premise environments
• Collaborate with Product Managers to develop a technology roadmap that anticipates future needs and incorporates emerging technologies and industry trends

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Modern Workplace Lead position is an experienced technologist with at least 10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft platforms. You should be a proven delivery leader with a solid history of leading complex IT projects to completion. As a team builder and collaborative leader, you should have at least 5 years of experience leading, inspiring, and developing teams on a global scale. Your technical proficiency should include extensive collaboration service knowledge and experience with leading automation technologies in both cloud and on-premise environments.

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft platforms
• Solid history of leading complex IT projects
• At least 5 years of experience leading, inspiring, and developing teams on a global scale
• Visionary self-starter who excels in time management
• Extensive collaboration service knowledge: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform
• Experience with leading automation technologies in both cloud and on-premise environments (e.g. Terraform, PowerShell DSC, Bicep)
• Expertise in managing large-scale on-premise to Microsoft cloud technology migrations
• Skilled in building cloud-optimized IT infrastructures that are secure, scalable, and resilient
