What you'll do:

As a Senior Network Engineer, your primary responsibility will be maintaining the company's network infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of IT systems. You will be tasked with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, QoS, SDWAN, Azure Cloud etc. Your role will also involve monitoring network performance to identify any issues and implementing solutions to optimise both performance and security. You will also conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure the highest level of data protection.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems architecture.
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout the company’s LAN/WAN/SDWAN infrastructure.
• Connect network to Azure Cloud through SDWAN (Silverpeak | HP Aruba EdgeConnect)
• Routing/Switching (Cisco) & Palo Alto Firewalls (PRISMA)
• Monitor network performance and optimise the network for optimal speed and performance.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide technical support to resolve system-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate efficient system management.
• Identify opportunities for automation and develop scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Network Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in implementing and supporting multisite technology solutions. You have proven yourself as a competent network specialist or held a similar role in the past. Your knowledge of system architecture is deep-rooted; you are proficient with switching networks and routing protocols like BGP & OSPF. Your scripting and automation skills are top-notch, and you have a keen eye for detail.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years implementing and supporting multisite technology solutions.
• Proven experience as a network specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of system architecture, switching networks and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain system documentation and BCP/Disaster Recovery plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
