What you'll do:
As a Fleet Management Systems Specialist, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's Technology Remote Operations Centre. You will be responsible for providing Level 2 support for Fleet Management Systems (FMS) / Mining Systems and proactively monitoring events to ensure critical technology availability. Your ability to rapidly provide break-fix solutions following outages will be crucial in this role. You will also engage with site operation stakeholders during events, incidents, and changes while working collaboratively in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment.
- Provide Level 2 Support for Fleet Management Systems (FMS) / Mining Systems.
- Proactively monitor and manage events to maintain critical technology availability.
- Rapidly provide break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages.
- Ensure safe execution of planned work.
- Engage with site operation stakeholders during events, incidents, and changes.
- Work collaboratively in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Fleet Management Systems Specialist role is self-motivated with technology, operational or maintenance experience. While operational experience within industrial or mining environments is desirable, it is not mandatory. You should possess strong communication skills and have the ability to work effectively with a range of cross-functional stakeholders. Being team-oriented and results-focused is key to success in this role. Strong analytical problem-solving skills are essential along with familiarity with ServiceNow (or other ITSM systems) and SAP. Experience in troubleshooting and supporting applications and servers is also required.
