Network Engineer

* Full time permanent role * South Eastern suburbs - hybird working arrangement (3 days a week in the office) * $135,000 - $145,000 pa incl super

About the role:

Our client within the managed services industry skilled Network Engineer to join their team in the South Eastern Suburbs, this role primarily will be responsible for delivering on project based work across their internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide network support and troubleshooting for ongoing operational requirements
  • Lead network related projects including network uplifts
  • Initiate and engage in kick-off meetings with clients to define deliverables, time lines, and requirements
  • Mentor other staff members on technical matters, fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the documentation of technical processes and standards
  • Act as a point of escalation for the project and professional services team

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of experience in Network Engineering
  • Minimum degree qualification in IT or relevant field
  • Hands-on experience with the latest technologies including Palo Alto products, Cisco Meraki, VLANs, FrotiGate & cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Windows server administration experience
