This organisation is a well-known service provider located in Perth's CBD servicing large client sites. The Technical Consultant role is and exciting opportunity to facilitate transition of technical projects and systems.
It is responsible for implementing technologies in accordance with approved design & procedure, using appropriate change control processes ensuring any issues, roadblocks or restrictions that could potentially impact implementation are captured and accurately communicated to the Project Manager and project Technical Lead.
Duties and responsibilities
- Implement technologies in accordance with the approved Detailed Design and Implementation Plan, including using appropriate change control processes ensuring any issues, roadblocks or restrictions that could potentially impact implementation are captured and accurately communicated to the Project Manager and project Technical Lead
- Validate that technologies have been implemented in accordance with the Detailed Design by performing structured testing
- Facilitate transition of technical project deliverables and systems to operational support teams
- Use structured problem management techniques to identify root cause of issues, and identify workarounds and resolutions
- Demonstrate commitment to a high level of customer service delivery
- Adhere to the Risk Management Policy, Framework and Processes
- Identify and manage risk within day to day operations, including being involved in risk workshops when requested
- Contribute to the Quality Management System
- Contribute to ISMS as per responsibilities of this role.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures (OH&S, Employee Relations etc.) and relevant legislation
Skills/experience required
- Relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years relevant experience
- ITIL v4 Foundation and Advanced certification in one technology stack
- Skills in Systems installation, decommissioning, testing, change management, and problem management
