Digital Transformation Manager

As the Digital Transformation Manager, you will play a crucial role in assessing and defining the digital capabilities required to support the outcomes of a reform initiative. This is a pivotal position that involves various foundational design and activities to enable the implementation of effective digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive solution capability assessment by reviewing business needs and determining core digital capabilities required for technology solutions.
  • Define the scope of data to be collected from both internal and external source systems, and formulate the underpinning data model for the digital solution.
  • Foster stakeholder relationships with business and policy representatives to capture and prioritise technical requirements, user stories, and operational processes.
  • Develop and document a business case to support the purpose, scope, and benefits of the digital solution, including a cost model and rationale.
  • Lead ICT procurement events to onboard external suppliers with digital implementation capabilities, including producing relevant documentation and conducting key events and milestones.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven ability to successfully deliver complex digital programs involving people, business processes, information systems, and multiple sources of data.
  • Strong understanding of secure data collection and management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and appropriate controls.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, influencing, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Product leadership experience, overseeing the development of innovative business solutions.
  • Effective risk management and project leadership, including budget planning and management.
  • Experience in producing technical documentation and leading end-to-end procurement processes for ICT initiatives.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive business cases and secure funding for technology solutions.
  • Integrity, honesty, fairness, impartiality, and commitment to values-based leadership.
