What you'll do:
As a Service Management Implementation Specialist, your primary role will be to lead the implementation of a robust service management capability. You will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Your expertise in designing an operating model that meets these objectives will be crucial. You will also be responsible for developing project plans, timelines, and budgets while conducting training sessions for end-users. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to monitor project progress effectively, identify potential risks, mitigate them promptly, and ensure seamless integration of service management tools with existing systems.
- Lead the implementation of service management capability for the technology division.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Design an operating model for the service management capability to meet these objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful implementation.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of new service management processes and tools.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of service management tools with existing systems and processes.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Service Management Implementation Specialist role brings a wealth of knowledge in ITIL framework and service management best practices. With a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, you have proven experience implementing service management in a financial services IT environment. Your familiarity with APRA prudential standards including CPS 234, CPS 231 and CPS 230 will be highly beneficial. Your experience with ServiceNow, coupled with your excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple streams simultaneously, sets you apart. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen attention to detail, make you the perfect fit for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework and service management best practices.
- Proven experience in service management implementation, preferably in a Financial Services IT environment.
- Familiarity with APRA prudential standards including CPS 234, CPS 231 and CPS 230 are highly desirable.
- Experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple streams simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
