The independent school is part of a large network of independent schools dedicated to nurturing bright minds in a caring, Christian environment. With over 17, 000 students, 18 independent schools and a 75 year old legacy in New South Wales, the independent organisation is highly regarded in the education community of NSW. This role will allow you the prestigious opportunity to coordinate, manage and lead the ICT function for one of their oldest school sites in South Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate and resolve ICT requests and incidents

• Offer 2nd and 3rd level support to staff, students and key internal and external stakeholders

• Diagnose issues encompassing hardware, software, servers, storage, and networking

• Maintain comprehensive systems documentation and oversee user accessibility

• Contribute to project-based installations and configurations

• 5 days on site support

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 5 year's technical help desk support experience, preferably within an educational or school based setting
• Previous experience in a team leadership role
• Proficient troubleshooting skills across desktop, server, and network environments
• Excellent communication skills that are adaptable to diverse audiences of all ages and technical acumen
• Certifications and hands on in Windows 10/11 and Mac OS, along with mastery of the Microsoft (Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD and Exchange Online)
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proactive, accountable, and meticulous in attention to detail
• Alignment with the institution's values and mission
• Ability to drive preferred but not mandatory
• Working with Children Check required (can be applied once a formal offer of employment is received)
