Seeking a field support technician for an on-site FIFO role working on a 7:7 swing with a global mining company. Our ideal candidate is someone who is driven to succeed and has the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Job Summary:
We have partnered with a global mining company who are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Support Technician to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support, extensive knowledge of Cisco technologies, proficiency in Active Directory, and a solid understanding of server environments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The role is a 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in desktop support and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with server environments, including Windows Server.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
