An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join a dynamic and inclusive team. This role offers the chance to provide quality IT support, ensuring high customer satisfaction through technical knowledge and timeliness. The successful candidate will act as a global point of contact for Technical Support, primarily via chat and phone, demonstrating their commitment to effective communication and problem-solving. This is a temporary role that promises variety and challenge, with responsibilities including desktop support functions, deploying Windows & Mac endpoints, and in-office IT support as required.

What you'll do:

As an IT Support Technician, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality IT support to employees. You will be the first point of contact for Technical Support queries received primarily via chat and phone. Your ability to record interactions and solutions using the Service Desk ticketing system will be crucial in this role. You will also act as a liaison between users and technical staff, communicating the status of problem resolution effectively. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting desktop functions, deploying Windows & Mac endpoints following ITAM processes, and providing in-office IT support as required.

Provide high-quality IT support for employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, technical knowledge, and timeliness
Serve as a global point of contact for Technical Support received primarily by Chat & phone
Record interactions & solutions using Service Desk ticketing system
Act as a liaison between users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution
Support Desktop support functions deploying Windows & Mac endpoints
Follow ITAM processes and provide in-office IT support as required


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the IT Support Technician role brings proven experience in providing high-quality IT support. You possess strong technical knowledge across various systems which enables you to resolve issues efficiently. Your excellent communication skills allow you to act as an effective liaison between users and technical staff. Experience with Service Desk ticketing systems is essential for recording interactions and solutions. Your ability to deploy Windows & Mac endpoints following ITAM processes is crucial. Additionally, your experience in providing in-office IT support will be highly valued.

Strong technical knowledge across various systems
