L3/L4 Support Engineer

Our client is on the hunt for an experienced L3/L4 Support Engineer with a strong background in End User Support, Azure, and Office 365. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in resolving complex technical challenges and has extensive experience with Windows 10 and 11, SharePoint, Intune, and Azure Server Administration and also has a deep understanding of Microsoft Server configuration, deployment, management, and troubleshooting.

What you'll do:

As an L3/L4 Support Engineer you will be at the forefront of providing expert technical support to clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include advanced network administration tasks such as configuring routers, switches and firewalls. You will also be responsible for understanding and implementing email security products as well as endpoint security solutions. One of your key roles will be owning escalated technical tickets ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner in line with SLAs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance system performance and stability. Additionally, you will conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues proposing long-term solutions.

  • Provide expert technical support to clients focusing on Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, Intune.
  • Perform advanced network administration tasks including configuring routers, switches, firewalls.
  • Understand and implement email security products and endpoint security solutions.
  • Own escalated technical tickets ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance system performance and stability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
  • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 support engineers fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices to continuously improve IT support services.
  • Assist in the deployment of new systems, software upgrades and infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.


What you bring:

The ideal L3/L4 Support Engineer will bring a wealth of experience to the role. You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 8 years of experience in a similar role. Your proficiency in End User Compute and Office 365 administration and support will be crucial for this role. A strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Intune is also required. Your expertise in Microsoft Server (2008-2019) administration management and troubleshooting will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with MDT deployments is also desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in End User Compute and Office 365 administration and support.
  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Intune.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Server (2008-2019) administration management and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with MDT deployments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Office 365, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
