IT Support Officer - Level 2

An exciting IT Services Company with leading cloud solutions are looking for an IT Support Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading technical services company with a large client base. The role will be located in central Sydney CBD.

What you'll do:

As an IT Support Officer, your primary responsibility will be providing exceptional customer service by performing onsite Level 1/2 support for end-user devices across multiple locations.

  • Perform onsite Level 1/2 support for end user devices across multiple locations
  • Handle VIP walk-ups and liaise with executive level staff effectively
  • Deploy SOE images onto user devices via Intune, MECM or similar
  • Manage Desktop and Mobile Devices using InTune, MECM or similar
  • Troubleshoot and isolate Desktop, Networking, Windows Server, O365 issues; escalating to the relevant team when required
  • Liaise with both internal teams and customer IT teams as required
  • Perform all support functions under accordance with ITIL process and procedure

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the IT Support Officer role brings along 2+ years of experience in a similar position - ideally in a managed services (MSP) environment.

  • 2+ years experience in a similar IT Support role
  • Deep understanding of support best practices, incl. identifying the true root cause and going the extra mile when required.
  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks in a busy environment and working under stress in emergencies; demonstrating flexibility to handle pressure coming from all directions simultaneously
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer-service, continuous improvement and ethical business practices
  • Experience working in technical environments with strong proven working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, Exchange Online and O365, AV management, Windows desktop products, Mobile Device Management, MECM and/or Intune and associated products
