What you'll do:

As a Desktop Support Officer, your role will be pivotal in supporting enterprise services and solutions. Will be focusing on:

• Installation, maintenance and support of enterprise ICT environments and systems
• Application of knowledge and technical skills in Operating Systems Microsoft 365, Desktop and Mobile Hardware, Conferencing room hardware and software, Network fundamentals TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Antivirus Scripting technologies
• Participation in analytical and problem-solving activities within an ITIL-based framework
• Support and deployment of ICT hardware and software across the state of Queensland
• Consultation, negotiation, liaison and provision of expert advice to staff at all levels regarding the operations of the Information Systems infrastructure and facilities
• Contribution to high quality customer service delivery through adherence to quality system documentation
• Effective teamwork with the Technology Services Group

What you bring:

• Demonstrable analytical experience identifying, investigating and solving problems within an ICT support activity in a large complex ICT environment
• Proactive attitude with demonstrated ability to act through self-direction
• Willingness to try new ways of working
• Strong knowledge of desktop and mobile hardware, Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals
