An industry specific Superannuation organisation is looking for an IT Manager with experience managing Networks and End User Computing to join their growing team for an initial 10 week contract. You will be responsible for continuous improvement of services and for technology and operations across the Melbourne office. Key responsibilities of the IT Manager:
Focusing on all outstanding resolutions with Networks and EUC and ensuring a customer-focused delivery of services;
Managing internal stakeholder as well as external vendor relationships and driving continuous improvement;
Assessing and monitoring service availability, reliability and quality and taking proactive steps towards continued service uplift;
Running a review of services, external relationships, SLAs and KPIs to provide optimum delivery of services;
Working collaboratively with other senior members within IT to ensure the overall IT strategy is met;
Ensuring appropriate disaster recovery plans as well as participating in regular environment testing;
Providing input to the overall IT strategy and ensuring that all Networks and EUC processes and procedures remain in line with this;
Identifying potential risk and compliance issues and working closely with the security team;
Assisting with the overall transition to BAU for new technology services.
The successful IT Manager will have:
Relevant IT tertiary qualifications:
5+ year's experience in a similar role;
Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL service management methodologies (experience with ServiceNow preferred);
Significant experience and understanding of Cloud based technologies including Office 365 and Azure;
Experience and understanding of VOIP telephony, security and networking concepts;
A good understanding of Aglie and PRINCE2 methodologies;
Previous experience or extensive knowledge of financial services sector legislative and regulatory requirements;
Excellent communication and stakeholder negotiation skills;
A proven track record for IT management and service improvement.
