An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Scrum Master to join a global leader in digital reality solutions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on leading and managing the application of Agile methodologies, interacting with teams around the globe. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Development Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Teams, and Product Managers to ensure product design aligns with business requirements and project milestones are delivered on time.

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in applying Agile methodologies within our organisation. You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams at various stages of their Agile journey. Your ability to guide teams in following Agile/Scrum practices will be crucial in promoting prioritisation, team readiness, and commitment for each sprint. Using empirical data, you will help teams assess their Scrum maturity and optimise their velocity while identifying opportunities for improvement. Your proactive approach will enable you to address systemic impediments to team agility effectively. You will also schedule and facilitate scrum events and decision-making processes while fostering a trusting environment that encourages problem-solving.

  • Apply agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
  • Train, mentor, and support scrum teams at different stages of their agile maturity.
  • Guide the scrum team(s) to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
  • Use empirical data to help the team(s) assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize scrum team velocity, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance.
  • Proactively address systemic impediments to team agility and guide the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers.
  • Schedule and facilitate scrum events and decision-making processes.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised, with an emphasis on problem-solving.

The ideal candidate for this Scrum Master position brings a wealth of experience in project management roles. You have strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles, and you're adept at training and mentoring teams at different stages of their Agile journey. Your experience using empirical data to assess team performance and identify improvement opportunities sets you apart. You possess excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to proactively address challenges and prevent them from becoming blockers. Your strong facilitation skills make you adept at scheduling and facilitating scrum events.
