- $190,000 - $210,000 inclusive of superannuation

Environment:
- Leading Telco company that is the architect, builder, and operator of network infrastructure for this specific industry; connecting over one million users across Australia.
- This is a multi-year program of work, undertaking a major refresh of the network infrastructure across the states and including a full CISCO refresh.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage, Influence, and Update: Lead weekly meetings with senior management (executives, steerco, SLT) to deliver comprehensive updates on project progress, risk management, and key developments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the network operations team, providing guidance on operational involvement, and ensuring robust testing protocols are executed to maintain project integrity and operational excellence.
- Program Stewardship: Steer the program through its various phases and roll-outs. This includes ensuring smooth transitions between phases and maintaining rigorous oversight of project execution.
- Comprehensive Project Management: Manage all aspects of the project; including budget control, scope definition, time-line management, project health monitoring, and the preparation of detailed steerco packs and reports. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the program’s success.
What you will bring to the role:
- A proven and successful track record in large, complex Network Infrastructure roll-outs, within the Telco industry (eg. 5G Core Networks, Cisco Nexus Switches, Catalyst 9000 Series Switches, ASR 9000 Series Routers, Virtual Switches, Routers, and Firewalls etc.)
- Experience leading projects in this space end-to-end, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Experience with CISCO, JUNIPER or similar products/vendors
- Demonstrated success in delivering and improving mature project management methodologies, including the implementation of industry best practices that drive efficiency, consistency, and quality across all project phases
- Experience reporting to an engaging SteerCo's, Executives, Program Sponsors and other senior stakeholders
