Portfolio Manager

On behalf of our client, we are in search of a seasoned Portfolio Manager to join their dedicated team. This role presents an enticing opportunity to be part of a consultancy, focusing on establishing support structures to ensure delivery meets client expectations. The successful candidate will guide and manage a team of professionals on a per-client engagement basis, offering insights in areas related to digital transformation. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects covering domains such as smart maintenance, supply chain optimisation, autonomous equipment, data engineering and enablement, operational technologies including control systems, applications integration, and digital twin simulation and planning.

What you'll do:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be at the helm of leading numerous consulting engagements. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will ensure that all engagements deliver the desired business outcomes, cultivating sustainable business relationships. You will provide mentorship to consultants, aiding them in achieving optimal results for our clients. Furthermore, you will work closely with our management team to enhance and develop our domain offerings. Your interpersonal skills will be instrumental in building relationships with various stakeholders.

• Leading Engagements: You will provide Portfolio or Program Management leadership for multiple consulting engagements with existing and target clients.
• Ensure engagements deliver the business outcomes to the satisfaction of the client.
• Provide quality assurance and delivery assurance across engagements.
• Mentor consultants to develop and achieve optimised results for the client.
• Collaborate with management team to enhance and develop domain offerings.
• Build relationships with sponsors, stakeholders and executive/senior management as well as with operational teams in the client environment.

The ideal candidate for this Portfolio Manager position brings extensive experience and knowledge in the technology systems domain. You have worked across the lifecycle of projects using various methodologies, consistently delivering required client outcomes. Your proven ability in building strategic roadmaps has led to sound and robust business cases. You are adept at selecting the best product based on customer requirements and have experience operating in an advisory or consulting capacity. Your strong logical, conceptual and problem-solving skills set you apart.

• Extensive experience and knowledge in technology systems domain.
