The Organisation

The applications department within an innovative government organisation are expanding their team with the hire of multiple full stack Senior Java Developers. This organisation supports critical applications across NSW that are used by millions of users every day. The department consists of developers whom adopt agile practices for successful project delivery. Due to the organisations plan to improve web accessibility and thier customer's experience, there has been an increase in project pipeline and delivery demand.

The Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working with the team to design, build and implement solutions based on J2EE technology. You will be involved in the development of responsive applications across both web and mobile. You will also support and troubleshoot applications in the environment before and during the production phase. Further, you will be involved in new projects surrounding an agile environment.

This is an initial contract position with high opportunity to extend long term.

Skills and Experience

As an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer, the requirements of this position include:

• 5+ years experience working within the IT environment
• Experience with Java J2EE Technology
• Experience with Hibernate, JSF, SOAP Web Services
• Experience with SQL Database
• Good Experience with Agile
