What you'll do:
As an Engineer in HR Technology, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks. From gathering and documenting requirements to guiding the development team in building solutions, your role is crucial to our operations. You'll also work closely with BAU and support teams to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement. Your expertise will be vital in implementing enhancements to existing HR integrations as per project requirements. Ensuring applications are developed with maintainable code that supports risk management and compliance is another key aspect of this role.
- Gather and document requirements in close collaboration with business, architecture, and delivery teams
- Perform functional and technical design
- Guide the development team in the build/configuration of the solution
- Work with BAU and support teams to analyse issues, troubleshoot, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement enhancements to existing HR integrations as per project requirements
- Ensure applications are developed with maintainable code that supports risk management and compliance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Engineer - HR Technology position brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. You have proven experience building and maintaining integrations through Rest APIs, along with proficiency in Java or Python. Your knowledge extends to mobile technologies, app development, infrastructure security, certificates, SSO etc. You're adept at articulating requirements to development teams using user stories and acceptance criteria. A strong interest in hands-on work across various situations sets you apart.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations through Rest APIs
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python
- Knowledge of Mobile technologies and mobile app development
- Understanding of Infrastructure – Firewalls, Security, Certificates, SSO etc.
- Ability to articulate requirements to development teams in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Strong interest in working hands on in a variety of situations
