Trading Application Support Engineer - Unix, SQL

Play a critical role in the operation of the organisations e-trading systems. You will be tasked with providing critical day-to-day support and managing incidents for large-scale distributed systems.

What You'll do:

• Supporty and development of front office applications
• Scripting in python for business applications and dashboard monitoring
• Work alongside team of developers, assisting to support automation of manual processes
• Perform efficient and effective incident management, improving recovery times
• Ensure industry standard root-cause analysis is exercised
• Provide ad-hoc reports to business and stakeholders in effective and timely manner

What you bring:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualifications
• 5+ years experience in production support environment
• Experience working in ITIL Incident Management and processes
• Experience with Oracle, with ability to develop complex SQL scripts
• Experience with dashboard monitoring setup and system management
• Knowledge and experience working in a trading environment
• Knowledge of python/unix/shell scripting
