Senior IDAM - Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior IDAM - Software Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on transformations projects, providing technical leadership and ensuring the quality and functionality of software produced. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a hybrid model, with flexibility to work from home for three days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise in ForgeRock Identity platform within a secure government environment.

What you'll do:

As a Senior IDAM - Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a transformations new user registration process. You will provide expert guidance during its implementation, working closely with subject matter experts on ForgeRock component configurations and service checks. Your role will involve designing, developing, testing and implementing identity management frameworks, systems and protocols. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing and managing IAM systems including Single Sign-On (SSO), authentication and access controls. A key part of your role will be ensuring that all procured or developed IAM systems are implemented properly and function as intended.

• Support the delivery of a new user registration process
• Provide guidance and advice during the implementation of the new user registration process
• Work closely with SMEs on ForgeRock component configurations and service checks
• Design, develop, test and implement identity management frameworks, systems and protocols
• Develop, implement and manage IAM systems including SSO, authentication and access controls
• Ensure that all procured or developed IAM systems are implemented properly and function as intended

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior IDAM - Software Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in identity and access management. With at least two years of hands-on experience with the ForgeRock Identity platform under your belt, you're comfortable working in a secure government environment. Your extensive knowledge extends to design, implementation, maintenance of the ForgeRock product suite, as well as performing deployments in highly secure environments. Your problem-solving skills shine when troubleshooting, identifying and resolving technical identity and access management related issues.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the ForgeRock Identity platform
• Experience working in a secure government environment
• Extensive hands-on experience with identity and access management
• Design, implementation and maintenance experience with the ForgeRock product suite
• Experience performing deployments in highly secure and highly available environments
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting, identifying and resolving technical identity and access management related issues
