Our client is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to join their team in Melbourne. This role offers an attractive salary of $800-900 per day including super, and the opportunity to work on exciting projects within a high priority customer migration project at a Big 4 Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end learning program content development using a range of digital and facilitated techniques.
What you'll do:
As an Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing learning materials that increase the capability and awareness of colleagues. You will be responsible for end-to-end learning program content development, utilising a range of digital and facilitated techniques such as online, video, podcasts, and PowerPoint. Your expertise in diverse learning design principles will be crucial in achieving desired learning outcomes. Furthermore, your consultation skills will be put to good use as you work with diverse stakeholders to shape enriching learning experiences.
• Design and develop internal and external learning material related to new concepts for all banking employees.
• Increase the capability and awareness of colleagues impacted by customer migration
• End-to-end learning program content development through a range of digital and facilitated techniques
• Use diverse learning design principles to achieve desired learning outcomes
• Consult with diverse stakeholders to shape learning experiences
• Manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Instructional Designer role brings a wealth of experience in designing learning content that supports skill and capability building. You are proficient in using digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, video editing, and audio editing tools. Your advanced skills in Microsoft suite will be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems would be advantageous. With a minimum of 5+ years of instructional design experience under your belt, preferably within mid to large-sized corporates or financial services sector, you are ready to take on this challenging role. Candidates with Big 4 Bank experience will be prioritised.
• Proven experience in instructional design of learning content
• Proficiency in using digital design software including Adobe Photoshop, video editing, and audio editing tools
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft suite
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems is advantageous
• Minimum of 5+ years of instructional design experience
• Experience in mid to large sized corporates desirable with exposure to financial services preferred
