About the Role
Responsibilities include;

• Assisting clients with the provision of strategic advice on matters including commercial and contractual disputes, regulatory investigations, internal investigations, class actions, risk and compliance matters, and insurance claims.
• Managing complex duties in significant matters across multiple industries.
• Drafting pleadings, affidavits, counsel briefings, and informed legal advice.
• Negotiating the early resolution of disputes in line with principles of cost-efficiency, risk-mitigation, and the achievement of strategic objectives.

About You

• You hold at least 5+ years PQE.
• You possess a demonstrated interest in competition and Australian consumer law, ideally with a background in litigation.
• You have strong experience in drafting and negotiating agreements, providing complex legal advice, and developing long-term relationships with clients.
• You demonstrate initiative and proactively approach work, managing your own workload to meet deadlines while operating efficiently with a team.
