Corporate/Commercial - Associate

We are assisting a commercial law firm on the exciting opportunity for a mid-level Associate to join their growing corporate team, based in their Sydney office.

This is a great opportunity for a Sydney-based corporate lawyer with at 3-5 years’ PQE experience to join this collaborative Corporate & Commercial team. Supported by leading Partners in their field, this team provides legal solutions to private and government clients.

In this role you will gain hands-on experience working on a variety of complex projects across a broad portfolio of clients. You can expect to have diverse experience where you will be exposed to corporate advisory and transaction work (e.g. M&A), general commercial advice and contracting, and complex government procurement (including whole of government). The team also regularly advises on various M&A deals typically ranging up to $100m plus.

About you

• Ideally previous experience and background in Corporate & Commercial law;
• Ability to provide input on commercial strategy in negotiating and structuring deals,
• Willingness to participate and enhance your business development skills,
• An interest and desire to grow and develop with the team; and
• An ability to build effective working relationships with clients.
