You are a senior employment lawyer who will be joining a market leading domestic bank with a reputation for excellent culture, flexibility and development initially on a 12 month contract.

The company is a leading domestic bank with a strong reputation in the market for excellent culture, flexibility and development within their established legal function.


About the Role
Responsibilities include:

  • Provide specialised expertise in employee relations and strategic leadership to senior management, talent leadership, consultants, and advisors to enhance HR capabilities, the People Strategy, and business objectives within the broader region
  • Provide authoritative guidance on employment law matters and related litigation, ensuring alignment with the business' interests and minimising brand and reputational risks
  • Cultivate strong relationships within the talent and HR community and maintain partnerships with key external stakeholders, including legal service providers and other relevant entities


About You
You have:

  • +4PQE with relevant legal qualifications and current practising certificate
  • Strong employment experience within private practice and/or in-house
