Senior Legal Counsel - Employment Law - Part Time

You will be joining a market leading domestic bank as a part-time legal counsel focusing on employment law issues within a dynamic and fast-growing legal team based in Melbourne on a 12 month contract.

About the Company
The company is a market leading domestic bank in Australia with a strong company focus on integrity, flexibility and inclusivity.

About the role
Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the company's adherence to employment laws and regulations.
  • Review and draft employment contracts, agreements, and policies.
  • Provide legal guidance on employee relations matters and assist in investigations.
  • Conduct training sessions on legal compliance and perform regular audits.
  • Support in the management of employment-related litigation.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations


About You
You have:

  • +4PQE with relevant legal qualifications and current practising certificate
  • Strong Employment Law experience
  • Looking to work on a part-time basis (ideally 4 days) within a fun team
