Head of Legal - Asset Management

You will be joining a leading global bank as Head of Legal for asset management in a team that focuses on flexibility, support and innovation.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Advising on key legal and regulatory requirements of the business's Australian asset management business
• Advising on the structuring, disclosure, maintenance and promotional activities for traditional investment funds, including legal oversight of product disclosure statements and information memoranda, fund constitutions, design and distribution framework and fund distribution and governance obligations
• Providing comprehensive and wide ranging legal support to business, sales, client service, investments, product, operations, compliance, risk and other teams across the Australian business

About You

You have:

• A minimum of 10PQE gained in Australia
• Significant experience with funds management
• A demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure on complex legal and regulatory issues
• Strong time management skills and ability to supervise work among outside counsel and other service providers
