Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate - 12 Month Contract

You will be joining a reputable multi-national insurance company as a Senior Legal Counsel initially on a 12 month contract focusing on transactional corporate legal work across the business within an established legal team based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:

  • Provide commercially focused, strategic legal advice and support in corporate-related areas
  • Champion ethical conduct and practices within the team
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively within a high-performing, client-focused team
  • Manage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic environment
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactively provide client-centric solutions


About You
You have:

  • Minimum 6PQE with relevant qualifications and practising certificate
  • Strong experience with M&A, corporate governance general corporate agreements
