Legal Counsel - Super

You will be joining a market-leading international organisation supporting their superannuation fund as a legal counsel within their high-performing and collegial team, this role will provide exposure to a diverse range of superannuation and regulatory matters, along with meaningful opportunities to influence business decisions and be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide legal advice across all aspects of the superannuation business, including trustee governance, licensing, regulatory compliance, breach reporting, and member issues

  • Review disclosure materials and product documentation (including PDSs)

  • Advise on trustee service provider arrangements and regulatory changes

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel

  • Support board and committee activities through review and sign-off of relevant materials

  • Contribute to training, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You have:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 3+ years’ post-admission experience and relevant qualifications and practising certificate

  • Background in superannuation and funds management

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
