Lawyer - Restructuring & Insolvency

The Role

You will be involved in advising on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including:

• Corporate restructures, workouts, and recapitalisations
• Formal insolvency appointments, including administrations, liquidations, and receiverships
• Acting for lenders, creditors, and insolvency practitioners
• Distressed acquisitions and special situations transactions
• Complex enforcement and recovery strategies
• Schemes of arrangement and deed of company arrangement (DOCAs)
• Insolvency related litigation and disputes

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Admission as an Australian legal practitioner
• Approximately 3–7 years’ PQE in restructuring and insolvency
• Experience across both contentious and non contentious matters
• Strong commercial judgment and technical capability
• Exposure to distressed M&A, workouts, or complex insolvency processes (highly regarded)
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• A collaborative mindset and interest in top tier quality work
