Lawyer/Associate - Banking & Finance

You will be joining one of Australia's leading national law firms as a Lawyer or Associate in their high-performing and collaborative banking and finance team, working out of their Melbourne office on complex and high-profile matters.

• Handling diverse and challenging legal work including drafting, reviewing and finalising legal documentation
• Negotiating and finalising high-profile complex transactions in various areas including project financing, agriculture and agribusiness lending and business financing solutions
• Providing advisory work across multiple legal areas
• Supporting and working closely with senior practitioners
• Advising leading financial institutions and corporate entities on complex financing arrangements
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the Melbourne banking and finance practice
• Participating in a high-performing, inclusive and team-driven environment

• 2-5 years PQE from a banking and finance practice within a reputable law firm or in-house
• Strong technical skills in front end banking and finance and transactional work
• Demonstrated commitment to client service with excellent communication, research, and problem-solving skills
