In-house Corporate Lawyer - Contract

You will be joining a market-leading ASX-listed financial services organisation as a Corporate Lawyer on a fixed-term contract working on both transactional and advisory corporate matters, within a high-performing, established legal team in Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will provide commercially focused legal advice across a diverse portfolio, including:
• Head office and corporate advisory matters
• Mergers & acquisitions
• Capital markets support
• General commercial contracting
• Marketing and broader commercial initiatives
• The legal team operates as a trusted adviser to the business and is known for its strong culture, quality of work and collaborative approach.

About You

You have:

• 2+ years’ PQE in corporate law (private practice and/or in-house)

• Experience across corporate advisory, M&A and general commercial contracting

• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

• Admission as a legal practitioner in Australia with unrestricted practising certificate
