CLASS ACTION LAWYER – SYDNEY / MELBOURNE
An exciting new role has arisen at a national Australian law firm which is looking to grow their class actions / commercial litigation practice across Sydney and Melbourne.

To succeed in this role, you are a litigator with experience handling large scale / complex litigation and class actions.

About the Class Action Lawyer Role:
Reporting to the Partner, the successful candidate will take carriage of class actions and commercial litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:
• You will be involved in and take carriage of end-to-end class actions (across areas of financial services, securities litigation, human rights, personal injury, and consumer law), with opportunity to dabble in complex commercial litigation and regulatory investigations work.
• Drafting of pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and court papers alike.
• Brief counsels, client management, witnesses and attending to court.

Key Requirements:
• Admitted as a solicitor with practising rights in Australia.
• Between 2 and 10 years of PQE in dispute resolution in Sydney and/or Melbourne.
• Experience handling class actions and/or complex and large scale commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
• Possess sound technical knowledge on court procedures and rules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
