Associate - Immigration
A well established and growing Australian migration law practice is seeking an experienced Migration Lawyer to join its Sydney team. The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own matters while collaborating closely with senior lawyers and support staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing Australian immigration law advice tailored to client needs
- Drafting legal submissions for visa applications, reviews, and appeals
- Managing files efficiently and in accordance with compliance standards
- Appearing before courts and tribunals where required
- Maintaining timely and professional client communication
- Managing monthly budgets and file billing
- Coaching and supporting junior team members
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Admission as an Australian legal practitioner with a current NSW Practising Certificate
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience practising Australian migration law
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- A proactive, solution focused mindset
- A second language is advantageous but not essential
