Associate / Senior Associate - Insurance

We are currently assisting an international firm on two roles in their market leading defendant insurance team. These Associate level roles have come about due to sustained growth in the insurance practice which has resulted in several opportunities for 3+ PQE lawyers to join their Melbourne office.

About the roles

Both roles will be reporting to three market leading Partners who focus on general liability and coverage matters. One role will focus on general liability and institutional abuse claims while the other will focus on medical negligence. Both roles will join the wider, market leading insurance team who offer the opportunity to work across different partners on different matters.

This firm offers a structured mentoring program, flexible working options, professional development programs, health and well being programs as well as a competitive salary. This is a great opportunity for any lawyers looking for the next step in their career with an interest in working for a truly international firm.

About you

The ideal candidate will have

  • At least 3PQE within defendant insurance law;
  • A hard working and dedicated attitude;
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team;
  • A genuine interest in insurance law;
  • Excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills.
