SENIOR ASSOCIATE / ASSOCIATE (TMT) – SYDNEY / MELBOURNE:
A top-tier law firm is currently looking for a high-calibre Senior Associate / Associate to join its TMT / Digital Economy team due to strong business growth and expansion plans.

About the Senior Associate / Associate (TMT) Role:
Reporting to the Partner, the successful candidate will be managing matters concerning a diverse portfolio of technology and telco clients.


Key Responsibilities:
• You will provide strategic advice to MNCs, telcos, and start-up tech businesses as well as work with high-net worth individuals.
• Handle a diverse portfolio of technology matters including information technology, software and cloud services, procurement, digital transformation, data breaches and responses and cyber incidents.
• Render legal advice relating to emerging technology laws and regulations.


Key Requirements:
• Admitted as a solicitor with practising rights in Australia.
• Between 2 and 10 years of PQE in tech / telco.
• Private legal practice experience is required (inhouse lawyers with experience from a tech / telco setting are welcome to apply).
• Deep experience in matters relating to information technology, telco and infrastructure, cyber incidents and data privacy.
• A desire to be part of a growing team.
• Experience leading and mentoring a dynamic team of lawyers.
