  • Draft pleadings, statements, and other court documents.
  • Obtain expert reports and liaise with medical and liability experts.
  • Prepare detailed advices on liability, quantum, and procedural strategy.
  • Represent clients in mediations and informal settlement conferences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s compensation teams.
  • Maintain accurate time recording and ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards.

  • Empathetic client manner and the ability to manage sensitive cases.
  • Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine commitment to achieving fair outcomes for plaintiffs.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing a file load independently under supervision.
  • Familiarity with personal injury legislation and pre-litigation procedures.
  • Exposure to occupiers’ liability, product liability, or catastrophic injury claims.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working arrangements and flexibility around hours.
  • Ongoing mentoring, professional development and clear progression pathways.
