Communications Executive

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Communications Executive to join a top real estate funds manager. Located in Sydney, this role offers a chance to work with a dynamic team overseeing over $21 billion in funds across Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will leverage their strong writing skills, excellent proofreading abilities, and in-depth knowledge of the real estate market to drive communication strategies and build relationships with local journalists and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft media releases and respond to media enquiries
  • Manage communication/publicity opportunities and review copy for marketing literature/tenders
  • Draft award submissions and organise media events such as groundbreaking ceremonies
  • Foster local journalist relationships and trade relationships
  • Draft internal communications content and create video storyboards
  • Manage media monitoring reports, update and manage legacy documents, manage internal stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5 years in the property sector or a related industry.
  • Deep understanding of commercial development, construction, and real estate fund management.
  • Confident pitching on the phone
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, intermediate knowledge of Excel, and social media platforms.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and pitching abilities, proactive work style, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, communications, or media.
