What you'll do:
As an Events Manager, your primary responsibility will be planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of internal and external events. You will work closely with different teams to understand their needs and ensure timely execution of each event. You will be expected to negotiate contracts with vendors while managing budgets effectively. Your ability to evaluate current processes and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement will be crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee events
  • Manage end-to-end logistics for external events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams understanding event requirements and create project plans
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage budgets
  • Execute events on-site, ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Evaluate and enhance event processes based on feedback
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Events Manager position brings experience in event management looking after end to end events of approx. 300 people or more along with other requirements:

  • Proven experience in Events Management role
  • Experience in managing events of approx. 300 people minimum
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Creative problem-solver with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of event management software like Cvent or Eventbrite (desirable)
