Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing inbound sales enquiries within the Commercial sector, maintaining strong relationships with potential new clients and ensuring that all information is provided in a timely manner. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where their skills in customer service and negotiation will be highly valued.

What you'll do:
As a Technical Sales Specialist, your primary role will be to manage a large volume of inbound sales enquiries within the Commercial sector. You will conduct proactive processes with all leads to determine their needs, demonstrating a full understanding of current marketing campaigns and offerings. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you prepare and issue price outlines for enquiries made, following up via telephone and email. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential when recording all relevant notes and information into the CRM, accepting incoming purchase orders, comparing them with quotations for compliance, and answering inbound phone calls as required.

• Manage inbound leads received via phone, email and web enquiries
• Conduct proactive processes with all leads to determine their needs
• Demonstrate full understanding of current marketing campaigns and offerings
• Prepare and issue price outlines for enquiries made
• Follow up on price outlines provided via telephone and email
• Record all relevant notes and information into the CRM
• Accept incoming purchase orders and compare with quotation for compliance and completeness of order instructions
• Answer inbound phone calls as required

The ideal candidate for the Technical Sales Specialist role brings proven experience dealing with both new and existing customers. Your customer service mindset, combined with your sales and negotiation skills, will enable you to excel in this role. You are able to meet commitments under pressure, demonstrating motivation, maturity, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Your organisational skills are exceptional, allowing you to proactively manage tasks. Your strong verbal and written communication skills ensure that you can provide accurate and detailed information as requested.
