CRC ORE was formed to research, develop and deliver new productivity enhancement technologies for the Australian mining industry.It is supported by the Commonwealth Government’s Cooperative Research Centre Program, tertiary institutions and industry partners.
CRC ORE commenced in 2010, and in 2015 was awarded a further 6-year funding term. It is the first large scale Research and Development initiative to consider all aspects from ore body knowledge through to resource economics to effect a step change in value across the mining value chain.
CRC ORE’s primary purpose is to work closely with the global minerals industry to develop an innovative systems based approach to improve productivity. This involves a range of integrated technologies, operating protocols and concepts for improving feed grades through early rejection of low value material.

The Success Profile
You will be an experienced Mining professional with a demonstrated history of creativity delivering innovative projects that have improved efficiency and productivity in the mining industry.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or science and a history of successfully working within multidisciplinary project teams. The successful person will demonstrate superior interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships, navigate complex issue resolution and achieve strategic objectives. You will possess deep knowledge and experience of mining and project management, the use of systems optimisation processes and the management of organisational and cultural change at a mine site.
