Primary Purpose of the Position
To effectively manage the administration of all subcontractor and supplier contracts within prescribed cost limits and contribute to ensuring financial and operational commitments are met or exceeded. Seek opportunities for the strategic development of the contracts to deliver increased turnover and profitability.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage time and workload
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team that delivers excellence
  • Detailed knowledge and demonstrated high level experience in project management, planning, budgeting, and cost control
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and apply contracts
  • Demonstrated high level decision making, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict in a high stress environment
  • Demonstrated high level analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualification Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying / Construction Management / Economics / Law / Business or other relevant discipline
  • Experience, Skills and Behavioural Competencies
  • At least 5 years’ relevant contracts administration experience
  • Robust understanding of relevant legislation
